Shaw Cablesystems
The Programming Department of Shaw Cablesystems G.P. and the Shaw Multicultural Channel is providing key communications support to the Kwantlen Community Collaboration.
As a CURA partner of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Shaw will provide alliance participants—including secondary and postsecondary students—access to television studio facilities for the creation of media that will appear online and on Shaw TV Channel 4. Shaw is also taking the initiative of providing internship and volunteer opportunities in Shaw's programming department to students from Kwantlen and Surrey's high schools.
Shaw TV has been committed to enriching and improving the communities that it serves. Over the past 30 years, Shaw has donated millions of dollars towards a multitude of local organizations. Support of the CURA Project continues this community outreach.
