Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society
To build a healthy and just society, which values and respects all cultures.
Mission Statement
To promote harmony and intercultural understanding for the purpose of building a more inclusive and mutually respectful society; to ensure equal access to jobs and services, and to work with other agencies and institutions.
Vision
In two decades, Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society has built a positive and respectful reputation with clients, funders, and the community as a multi-faceted agency that develops innovative programs and creates strong partnerships with other organizations. PICS continues to deliver effective programs and services, strengthen Board involvement, and broaden our areas of service outside senior's housing, health, immigration, counselling programs, ESL, employment programs and agricultural programs.
PICS now provides employment services, health education, counselling programs, youth programs, English language, immigration/settlement services, drug/alcohol counselling, volunteer program, agricultural workers programs and seniors housing. A Senior's Assisted Living Facility is now open and we're also proud to provide free services at our Seniors Day Centre.
