Apna Community Theatre
Apna Community Theatre (ACT) is a non-profit society, based in Surrey BC, whose mandate is to produce dramatic, comedic and historical stage plays. We are interested in addressing relevant social themes through the use of literary medium. We also want to advance Punjabi literary culture locally; many of our stage plays will reflect the history of Punjab. But most of our stage productions will deal with contemporary issues that we face as a visible minority community in Canada, things that ordinary people do to try to make their lives better.
